I’m sitting here in my old crappy one bedroom apartment, waiting for the junk guys to come and pick up all our shit Ikea furniture that we’ve lived with for 4 years. Funny – it’s crappy and junky now because we’ve upgraded and moved into a nicer place, so I am quite happy to write it off as rubbish.
I have the same mentality with new purchases – as soon as I buy a newer, shiner version of something, I will immediately discard the old one into a dark corner and never think about it again.
I’m kinda thinking of doing the same thing with Husband. I was just informed that my 2 hours of waiting was in vain, because the junk movers are not coming. Here is how it all went down:
I rush here from my Kangoo and weights session double down from the gym, starving and sweaty, since Husband informed me that the junk dudes will be here between 2-4pm.
Me Thinking: Hmm…it’s kinda weird that these dudes are not here yet, and I’m starving…maybe I’ll text Husband to make sure that it’s all kosher….
